Trip Details:
•Trip Length: 8-10 hours, see trip options for details (clients may end early if desired)
•Group Size: Up to 3 passengers maximum
Trip Options:
•(November 16 - March 15) Day Trips: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (arrive by 6:30 AM)
•(March 16 - November 15) Night Trips: 7:00 PM – 3:00 AM (arrive by 6:30 PM)
What’s Provided:
•All bait, rods, reels, tackle, and fishing licenses
•Premium SeaArk river boats rigged for serious catfishing
•USCG safety equipment
•You only need to bring: food, drinks, sunscreen, appropriate clothing, and a small cooler if planning to transport any kept fish (see Catch & Release Policy).
Target Species:
•Blue Catfish — available year-round
•Flathead Catfish — peak season from April through October. Most fish average 10–25 pounds, but every trip offers a real chance at landing a 40+ pound trophy.
River Selection:
At 4REEL Catfish Charters, the river you fish will be carefully selected by Captain Tyler based on:
•Current water levels
•Seasonal fish movements
•Targeted species
•Safety and best fishing conditions
Customers do not select the river.
Captain Tyler will determine the best option for maximizing your success.
Pricing and Booking:
•Trip Cost: $600 for standard 8 hour trip, with 2 additional hours available for $100 (paid in full at time of booking)
•Payment Terms:
•Full payment required to reserve your trip
•Payments are non-refundable, including cancellations due to weather or customer choice
•Trips may be rescheduled if needed based on mutual availability
Catch & Release Policy:
•All fish 15 pounds and over must be released.
•Catch and photo opportunities are encouraged for trophy fish.
•We strongly promote the release of fish 15 pounds and larger to protect our fisheries.
•Keeping fish is discouraged due to serious water quality issues, including industrial runoff, agricultural pollutants, heavy metals (especially mercury), and algal blooms in these river systems.
Seasonal Trip Schedule:
•November 16 - March 15: Daytime trips only (7AM–3PM)
•March 16 - November 15: Nighttime trips only (7PM–3AM)
March and November, Daytime trips available upon request
What to Bring:
•Food and drinks (no glass bottles)
•Sunscreen and sunglasses
•Weather-appropriate clothing (hat, rain gear, layers depending on season)
•Cooler with ice (if planning to transport kept fish — see release policy)
•Headlamp (encouraged for night trips)
•Mosquito repellent (especially for night trips)
•Camera or phone for photos
Please arrive 30 minutes early for loading, safety checks, and trip briefing.
